I would return the color remover and get some bleach, mix with 40 volume peroxide (cream) and bleach out some chunks to a light yellow and then apply the purple passion. To strip the color and bleach would be super damaging to your hair. The bleach will do it one shot. It may take as long as 60 minutes to lighten the color to pale yellow though, watch the color carefully. Best and have fun! Usually it looks good at forst, but after a couple of days of fade, the orange really shows through and isn't so pretty. If it goes LIGHT orange, you should be ok probably.
