brown over pink?

i dyed my hair with a mix of Virgin Rose and Fish Bowl Blue, funny enough, the blue washed out and now its pinkish, but it doesn't seem to fade at all. i need to get a job, so im going to dye it brown again, do you guys think it will work to dye right on the pink or do i have to shell out money for a bleaching kit again? just wondering if anyone put brown over a bright color.

    I put a semi-permanent dark brown over bright pink in early December. Worked fine, faded to burgundy.

    If you want a permanent brown (like miss clairol or whatever) then you probably have to bleach again. You can get bizarre efffects by trying to dye over semi-perm colors. Or at least I have.
