the answer is that it varies. It really depends on what you want to have done, and the condition of your hair. highlights generally start at $25. If you get color and highlights, there's a discount. color starts at $30.
i work in a salon, and i do freelance work. i'm basically pretty stoked on being a hairdresser, and i do it whenever possible. I also do editorial work, and special event styling. the prices are so cheap because i'm just becoming established, but my work is good :)
